Lymphomatoid Papulosis –3 Case Reports

چکیده
We present two cases of childhood and one case of adult Lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP), an entity which is commonly misdiagnosed and poorly described in the paediatric dermatology literature. Clinically and histologically, the features of LyP in children can mimic insect bite reaction, with prominent dermal neutrophils and eosinophils. However, CD30 immunohistochemical staining of atypical lymphocytes within a mixed inflammatory infiltrate should point to the diagnosis of LyP. There is no consensus to guide management of childhood LyP due to its rarity and largely unknown natural course. We discuss our experience with LyP in two children who are blood related and one adult case. Although none of our cases have experienced malignant transformation to date and life long monitoring is advocated.

Immuno Pathogenesis of Pregnancy induced Lymphomatoid Papulosis
We present the immuno pathogenesis of Lymphomatoid Papulosis associated with mild immuno suppression. The foundation of our observation was based on case reports discussing the development of LyP while concurrently using immune modulators. The medically altered immune state is mirrored by the hormone-induced changes of pregnancy. Furthermore, we explain how the natural progression of pregnancy ...

A change in clinical behavior of a disease should prompt search for differential diagnoses. Here, the appearance of ulcerated skin nodules in a preexisting cutaneous mastocytosis revealed a concurrent lymphomatoid papulosis - a CD30+ lymphoproliferative skin disease with histological features of a malignant lymphoma, but with a benign self-healing course.

Lymphomatoid papulosis is a cutaneous lymphoma with an indolent clinical behaviour characterized by chronic development of recurrent, self-limited lesions appearing as necrotic papules and with a pathology compatible with T cell lymphoma. Mucosal involvement by lymphomatoid papulosis is very rare but has been reported in the literature. It usually appears as ulcers in patients previously diagno...

LyP: lymphomatoid papulosis INTRODUCTION Lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP) is an indolent skin disease characterized by chronic, recurrent, selfhealing papules and nodules with histologic findings suggestive of malignant lymphoma. LyP is classified as a CD301 cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorder according to the 2005 World Health Organization/ European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Ca...

INTRODUCTION Lymphomatoid papulosis is a chronic benign disease which may be associated with malignant lymphomas. This case illustrates the relapsing and remitting nature of both lymphomatoid papulosis and its potential of developing cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and narrow-band ultraviolet B (NB-UVB) phototherapy as a new modality of treatment of early-stage mycosis fungoides in these patients. ...
